Oh, Rosie... Also goes by "Rosalee" as her other nick-name. This girl was a special find. Her owner did not have the time for her high prey drive, as Rosie did get after some chickens on the family farm often and was successful in her missions. Since I have gotten Rosie, she is the MOST loving Australian Shepherd with such a versatile personality! She can go work livestock with me as well as be my couch potato and snuggle - buddy at home. Even though untrained by a professional, as herding training is not something I have yet mastered but eventually want to dabble in, she has herded personal horses back into their paddocks by instinct. I appreciate her ability to be able to do both. Her ears were never corrected as a puppy and stand between a rose-bud ear and a prick-ear naturally (depends on the day), so she was never and will never be shown in the conformation ring. She has never met a person that she did not like and she has major food appreciation and drive. She'll protect the yard from squirrels and birds at all cost, but oddly likes cats and tries to befriend them (even when they do not want to befriend her).

I hope to express her puppies with the same feminine and structurally correct physique she has in conformation. 

She has a not often seen pedigree that offers a unique out cross to some more common names seen in the show ring today.
